Welcome to the 2015 KwaZulu Natal enterPRIZE Challenge.
As indicated on the Sustainable Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) enterPRIZE Challenge Home Page, this year we will be launching a series of new challenges in both the Free State Province and Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN). These Challenges will focus on sectors in the local economy where gaps in the market have been identified.
The first Challenge to be launched in KwaZulu Natal is the Youth Innovation Challenge. In line with the KZN Provincial Growth and Development Strategy this Challenge focuses on youth and enterprise development.

The Challenge will include of a capacity building element where youth participate in an IBM-sponsored Hackathon, IBM Subject Matter Experts (SME's) will support youth to develop and apply mobile applications using IBM technology that address challenges faced by eThekwini Municipality. This will be followed by an opportunity for the youth to compete in the enterPRIZE Challenge component of the process by presenting their innovative ICT business ideas.
